The docks

Your boat, right outside the door.

Walk from your cabin to your slip, from your slip to your table. On the cove, the dock is the front porch.

Why the cove

More than a place to park the boat.

  • 01

    Protected water

Little Sodus Bay is sheltered from the open lake — calm mornings, easy docking, and a safe harbor when Ontario kicks up.

  • 02

    Straight to the big lake

One channel out and you’re on Lake Ontario, chasing salmon and trout.

  • 03

    Dock & dine

Burgers, fresh haddock, and a full bar at the dockside restaurant — tie up and grab a table.

    The Restaurant
  • 04

    Stay the night

Waterfront cabins a short walk from the docks, so the boat is the first thing you see in the morning.

Every season on the cove

The view from the dock.

Rainbows after a summer storm, sunsets over Lake Ontario, and the bay going still as the ice comes in.

After October 15

The slips rest. The bay doesn’t.

Once the season wraps and Little Sodus Bay freezes over, the ice shanties come out. Same water, different season.
